Webcam - Mt Hutt, Methven

Information

• The camera used is a TRENTnet TV-IP2000 ethernet web camera, it is housed in an outdoor enclosure and points towards Mt Hutt making it handy to see how much snow is on top or if its windy.
• The image is sent every 30mins during daylight hours, via the internet, to the webserver where a script processes the image and uploads it to the relevant webserver location.
• It is possible to change the photo interval, glass heater on/off temperature, light levels and view the internal voltages remotely. Thanks Anthony.
• There can occasionally be problems with this camera, mostly when there is no power to the site or the internet connection is down.
